What would your life look like if you took care of your body as well as you take care of your money?

Time

Exercise #1: Write down exactly what you do every day for one week in 15-minute increments.  Find gaps where awesome things can be plugged in.

Exercise #2: Find your highlight.  What do you look forward to EVERY day?

Book: Make Time by Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky

Habit Building

Exercise #3: Write down 3 habits you want to bring into your life.

Exercise #4: Write down: “I’m the kind of person that …”

Book: Atomic Habits by James Clear

Exercise #5: Take this quiz and figure out your Tendency. https://quiz.gretchenrubin.com/ Map how you will use your unique tendency to encourage new habits. She gives you strategies of accountability.

Relationships

Exercise #6 : Take the quiz with your significant other and identify your Love Language

Exercise #7: Consider looking into your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and see a relationship counselor. With EAP you usually can get 4-8 sessions a year for free counseling.  There are also financial coaches that specialize in relationships. Couples Financial Counselor at AHK Coaching The best time to start therapy is before you need it.

Sleep

Exercise #8: go through your room and make sure it’s sleep worthy. CDC Link here.

Meditation

Exercise #9 Try a YouTube meditation, download a meditation App such as 10% Happier or Calm.

Nutrition

Exercise #10: Start tracking how much water and vegetables you take in on a daily basis.  I love My Fitness Pal App for tracking.

For more information about specific foods, nutritionfacts.org is a good resource, it’s written by a vegan physician and he presents the latest research on different nutrition options

Fitness

Exercise #11: Identify a side hustle that increases your activity level.  Rover is a great option if you like dogs. Identify activities with small people that get your heart rate up.
