The two biggest ways to Financial Independence (FI) is to make a lot of money and save a lot of money. I’m most known for my frugality, except in one area. I will spend an hour coupon cutting and looking for the best deal on milk, then turn around and spend a fortune on a vacation. Disney is my passion, I don’t know but it is. I tend to cry when I see Mickey ride in on the train while they are opening the gates. Disney gives me this magical feeling of gratitude Every. Single. Time.

I can’t believe my kids get to experience this time as a family. They get 100% of our attention and we are altogether without the worries of going into debt to have a family vacation. Since I’m so frugal we buy the dining plan, so I don’t try to penny pinch and starve my kids during the vacation. It’s indescribable how the dining plan allows me to relax. Weird but true.
So why post about Disney? Because this post isn’t about my love for Disney, it’s actually about finding my side hustle. I’m constantly thinking about how to trick my husband into going on another trip. I’ve figured out a way to do it and still stay on the path to FI.
I’m officially enrolled in the College of Disney Knowledge.
I have spent countless hours planning Disney trips for friends because I feel overwhelming joy and excitement for them and I want to make it as special as possible. Now I can actually get paid for it! My overall goal is to fund my Disney obsession while my children are still small. They still believe in the magic of pixie dust (and maybe so do I).
